I have tried giving admin rights to everything (turns out Steam does that anyway for you), as well as applying compatibility modes, switching DirectX modes, etc. PoP TFS actually ran pretty well but all of the on screen UI was missing, I could not save a game and there were a lot of sounds missing here as well. PoP 2008 had absolutely terrible performance and all sound were cut off after 2 seconds. AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations and 3 would not start after the Uplay loading screen, I just got a white flash. AC1 could not load a new game and had sounds missing in the main menu. I bought Assassin's Creed 1, 2, Brotherhood, Revelations and 3, as well as Prince of Persia 2008 and The Forgotten Sands here on Steam. After a long search I have finally found just the help I needed and I thought I would share it. I have been having startup and/or sound issues with every Ubisoft game released after 2005 that I have. I also encourage you to send your case to Ubisoft support team (See steps below) for a better chance of receiving help.Īs a last note, it is speculated that many of these issues are rooted in Ubisoft and not due to any kind of hardware issues or user error, so if following the steps or advice in this post or replies does not yield a solution, then it is highly likely that your crashing and/or connectivity issues cannot and will not be fixed until Ubisoft themselves push out a larger plan to solve all the problems.I have a MacBook Pro and I am running Windows 10 via Bootcamp. It could be that your issue is readily solvable, and leaving a comment here could get a reply, but also be aware it is entirely possible your problem is not easily solvable and will not receive a reply. Additionally, you can reply to this thread with any problems you might be encountering with as much detail as possible. If you have an issue with any version of the game, see the "Resources" section below to find possible fixes to those issues. These complaints mostly involve crashing and connectivity issues, and have been ongoing problems for a long time with many people being affected. In the recent months, there have been hundreds of complaints regarding Ubisoft's version of Uno, primarily on Steam, Uplay, and Xbox.
